Visakhapatnam: REITERATING the responsibilities of Andhra Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (Rera), Chandu Samabasiva Rao, member, APRERA, on Sunday asserted that RERA will be there to help builders and to safeguard their interest by adhering to all the stipulated guidelines.
During a visit to the office of Credai here, he said that the realty operators can represent to RERA any issue of their concern. He said he will try to solve them within the framework of the Rera Act. He explained to the Credai members how some of the provisions are beneficial to the builders. He assured to convene a meeting of all stakeholders, as requested by the members and suggested that Credai take the lead in this regard by holding meetings.Rao promised members of Credai-Visakhapatnam that he will look into all genuine issues connected with builders, represented to him and initiate action to solve them at the earliest. Rao gave a patient hearing to all issues raised by the members of the Credai, who included CREDAI-AP, president B Raja Srinivas, joint secretary and AP, Rera sub-committee convener P Koteswara Rao, CREDAI-Visakhapatnam, chairman B Srinivasa Rao, president KSRK Raju (Sai) and others.
